Trey Jennings ’12 snagged a clutch victory in Andover’s 7-0 sweep of BB&N last Wednesday. His win, earned in a super tiebreaker, secured two match points. His efforts earned him the title of Athlete of the Week.
How long have you been playing tennis?
I have been playing tennis for about 13 years.
What are you best and worst at in tennis?
I would say I am best hitting my forehand, and there is always room for improvement on my overheads and volleys.
Who is your favorite tennis player and why?
My favorite tennis player is Andy Roddick because he’s American.
What was your favorite TV show growing up?
“Scooby Doo.”
Where do you play tennis outside of Andover?
I play at the beach club by my house with friends and family.
Any pre-match rituals?
I have this ritual where I rub my two lucky coins against my racquet. One I got while I was in China and one of my friends gave me the other one .
At the movies: popcorn or candy?
Popcorn with extra melted butter.
