Following in the footsteps of previous leader Evan Harmeling ’07, who dominated the New England Prep circuit, golf Captain Nicholas Koh ’08 looks to lead Andover to a winning season. Captain Koh has had an impressive golf career at Andover and has proven himself to be a clutch and consistent golfer with great play throughout his past two years at PA. He will not be the sole player leading the team to victory, as a core group of returning upperclassmen and new underclassman should be more than able to support him. With the loss of seniors Harmeling and Kristen Macdonald ’07 Andover looks to rebuild its team with a combination of experienced golfers such as Jeff Abboud ’08 and Wutae Lee ’10 complemented by talent from new golfers. New players such as Will Lindsey ’10 and Ben Ho ’11 will have to step up and shoot some solid scores to help Andover retain the Lovell Cup and the Witherspoon Bowl. In addition, Andover hopes to capture the Newport Invitational Championship. Andover will host Tabor to open the season on Saturday and will follow with a match against rival Exeter.
