In the team’s best showing of the season, Andover Ultimate only gave up its first point after it had scored seven of its own. The team went on to dispatch Somerville with a final score of 15-2, and Somerville’s second and final point came only after Andover had scored 14.

“Somerville threw a defense that we had never seen before. But we shifted our offense and were able to successfully play around the defense. A lot of things were clicking for us,” said Darian Bhathena ’16, who scored four points in the game.

Andover hopes to carry this momentum into the NEPSUL tournament this Saturday.
