On the Green

This year, Director of Student Activites Cindy Efinger and the Student Activites Board decided to combine two traditional activities from the first weekend of school, the Club Rally and Quad Day, into Cluster Day. In the past Quad Day centered around carnival activities and dorms from the Quads raising money. Meanwhile, the Club Rally gave students the opportunity to sign-up for various organizations. Cluster Day, on the other hand, combined the opportunity to sign-up for clubs with cluster competition in a variety of activities. Ms. Efinger said, “Cluster Day is a completely new idea for the year’s first closed weekend. We will make adjustments to perfect the events, but Cluster Day has the support of the students on the Student Activities Board and all the Cluster Deans. Hopefully new and returning students will enjoy.”
