Girls Lacrosse Outscore Opponents 49-10 in Three Dominating Victories

Girls Lacrosse added to its nine-game win streak with a 20-3 victory versus Austin Prep, a 14-3 victory over Rivers, and a 15-4 victory against Groton. During the Austin Prep game, Andover came out to a strong lead, maintaining dominance over opponents while honing skills to prepare for future games. The team continued its commanding performance with a decisive victory over Rivers. Gracynn Hartley ’27 noted Quiana Bell ’26 and the midfielders on the team as driving factors in its win against Rivers.

“Everyone did a great job all around. Quiana does a great job on defense getting interceptions and passes. In general, I want to shout out the midfield. We were able to handle Rivers with Lauren Herlihy [’25], Neicia Smith [’25], Ashley Dimnaku [’27], and Emma Morrison [’28] stepping up during the game, and credit to all of them,” said Hartley.

In its final victory of the week over Groton, the team displayed its attacking prowess, using fastbreaks and smart passing plays to score points. Now with a 12-game win streak, with its last loss over a month ago, Girls Lacrosse takes on Loomis and Governor’s on Saturday and Monday, respectively.
