In Memoriam: Alice Hoffman, 1992-2011

On Thursday, Andover collectively remembered Alice Hoffman ’13, who passed away on April 12, 2011.

In a show of solidarity and in celebration of Alice’s life, an outpouring of orange, a symbolic reminder of Leukemia research, covered campus. This simple but powerful action showed that Alice’s memory still endures here on campus.

A year ago, The Phillipian published a commemoration of Alice in its editorial column. The message still holds true: “Alice, her memory, her bold presence, her spunk, will remain with us as we pass through this chaotic time. She will stay with us and with Andover through our memories and the ways she changed us.”
