To the Editor:
The March 8th editorial, “A Stacked Deck,” aptly and appropriately highlighted a flaw in this year’s auction at the West Quad South (WQS) Casino Night. Regrettably, we failed to consider fully the unintended consequences of allowing students to purchase in cash a corresponding value of chips to bid on auction items. We are appreciative of the feedback and dialogue that have ensued from this event and the WQS Cluster Council will consider appropriate adjustments to WQS Casino Night in future years.
