What are you looking forward to this Spring?

John Palfrey – Head of School “Since hope springs eternal, I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone’s optimistic hopes for the spring play out. Go Big Blue!”

Jennifer Elliott ’94 – Dean of Students “I am excited to learn from my Uppers as they explore their topics in History 310… I am excited to celebrate the seniors at the prom, at Senior-Faculty, at baccalaureate, and at graduation!”

Michael Codrington ’18 “I’m in the school play ‘Black Gods of the Asphalt’ and I’m really excited to embody my role and work with such a great cast. Also I’m hoping on the weather getting better really soon so lawning all day!”

Mona Suzuki ’19 “I’m really psyched to sign up for more clubs now that I am able to manage my time more effectively and can easily fit the meetings in.”

Jocelyn Shen ’18 “I’m really looking forward to going to the VEX Robotics World Championships in April with my team. It’s going to be in Louisville, Ky. I’m also just really looking forward to less dreary weather.”

Arthur Paleologos ’17 “I’m looking forward to warmer weather, cluster ultimate frisbee, and spikeball on the great lawn. And of course, I’m bursting with joy for my History 310 paper.”

Madison Pettaway ’17 “I am looking forward to lawning and laughing with my two best friends, Auguste White ’17 and Alex Ma ’17, who are killing the game. There is so much change happening this term and having them by my side makes everything even more exciting.”

Isabella Haegg ’16 “I’m looking forward most to tanning, tunes, and tennis with the best team around.”

John Lim ’16 “I’m excited to have more free time to practice and focus on music. Also: lawning!”

Seth Bardo – Instructor in English “I look forward to my students’ exuberance in the spring. Seniors – accepted to colleges, unburdened – bring a renewed energy as well as a sense of whimsy to classes. And the [Juniors] start to recognize that they have been through a rite of passage, one that makes them proud to identify as Andover students.”

Larson Tolo ’18 “I am most looking forward to spending quality time with my closest friends. As the weather gets nicer, smiles begin to pop up on everyone’s faces, and I cannot wait for that to happen.

Leah Hamann ’17 “I’m looking forward to spending more time outside with my friends and not spending Upper Spring locked in the library.”
