Co-Captain John Bukawyn ’08: Bukawyn led this year’s somewhat young midfield group. His uncanny ability to finish around the net and make plays was huge this season. Bukawyn also fearlessly won countless ground balls. Sarah Cohan ’08: Despite a disappointing end to the Girls Crew season, Cohan rowed consistently throughout and provided incredible stability for the team’s first boat. Captain Simone Hill ’08: Hill demonstrated spectacular leadership throughout the season. Her third place finish in the 100 helped Andover win the championship at the NEPSTA Interschols. Mike Donelan ’08: Donelan made his return to the track team in stunning fashion. He picked up a fourth of the team’s overall points at Interschols with his extraordinary speed. Arianna Van Sluytman ’08: The doubles pair of Van Sluytman and Carolyn Brown ’09 helped carry Andover to a New England title. Their doubles win proved pivotal in the team’s overall win. JR Santaniello ’08: Santaniello was a threat all season at the plate and on the hill. He was the ace of the staff, logging 37 innings and recording 29 strikeouts. At the plate, he led the team in home runs.
